Adolescence is a challenging period for many young people. Adolescent is a confused and incompletely developed adult. They are going through many changes in physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of their life. During these developmental changes, sometimes, young people believe that they are unable to communicate or express their feelings. In the process, they often face situations like conflicts and arguments. These may lead to unnecessary stress. anger issues, low self esteem, etc. Today’s sedentary lifestyle has resulted in obesity and obesity related problems like Diabetes, Hypertension in younger age groups.

Our children and young people services provide care that is tailored to your child’s individual needs as well as their age and maturity level. Children and adolescents of today need to develop skills and abilities to take right decisions in their life whether career, student life or family life. The best way to make them believe in themselves and to have a positive support system around them is through “Family Life Education.”

So when your child moves out of paediatric care when they are 12,14 or 25 year old, as an adolescent specialist we provide a care that help you to made a plan for their successful transition to adult

Health Services:

  1. Screening
    To Identify and assess problem behavior, managing these where possible or, referring young people if needed. Screening is planned for Life Style Diseases, Mental Health Disorders,Substance Abuse,PCOD (Polycystic ovarian Disease), Eating Disorder etc.
  2.  Awareness classes about Period of Adolescence Changes during Adolescence & problems associated with it and how to tackle them.
    Reproductive Health : Health education regarding Menstruation and menstrual Hygeine, sex,sexuality ,STI,Pregnancy ,contraception.
  3.  Anticipatory Guidance So when your child moves out of paediatric care when they are 12,14 or 25 year old, can be sure as a adolescent specialist that you have carefully considered their readiness and help you to made a plan for their successful transition to adult care. We can provide anticipatory guidance about risk taking behaviour
  4. Counselling Services :
    Basic Trial : offer information and counseling on developmental changes, personal care and ways of seeking help
    Life Style Counselling, Nutrition counselling
  5.  Life Skill Education :
    Help them to understand all the life skills; and equip them with positive knowledge, skills and attitude towards self and others . This will help them to become positive and confident individuals
  6.   Adolescent Immunization. As and when required
